NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL?
Life Off Leash knows that things come up and appointments need to be re-scheduled or cancelled. By cancelling within our allotted timeframe we have the opportunity to fill your time slot with another lucky dog waiting to be pampered.
Please note that Life Off Leash does strictly enforce the below policies:
- Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment for cancellations or rescheduling by texting us at 978-809-9040 with your name, date of appointment and the word “CANCEL”. If you do not get a confirmation text back from us please call 978-809-9040 to cancel.
- Should we not receive your cancellation 48 hours in advance you will be charged a fee of 50% of the scheduled services.
- No-Shows - Should you not contact us at all or call after the appointment has already started (which means we are already at your location) you will be charged the full grooming fee for that days scheduled services.
- We do require a credit card to hold your allotted times when booking your appointment. Any cancellation fees described above would be charged to the card we have on file.
- Should we need to cancel your appointment due to an emergency, inclement weather, mechanical failure, etc. we will make every effort to contact you in advance and reschedule your grooming appointment. Should we arrive to appointment and are unable to groom your dog due to the dog not cooperating the fee for this will be $50.00.
Payment Information:
Payment is due at time of service. We accept all major credit cards via Square and Cash. Sorry we do not accept personal checks.
Social Media:
Life Off Leash is featured on Facebook and Instagram and loves to post before and after pictures of your beautiful pup! Please inform us if you would not like your pup featured on our website or social media platforms.
Current Vaccinations:
Life Off Leash will need proof of Rabies and Distemper/Parvo vaccinations, prior to starting grooming services, please have available to show us upon our arrival. Kennel Cough vaccination (Bordetella) is highly recommended. Life Off Leash will not groom any dog without an up to date rabies vaccination.
Dog Behavior:
For our safety, Life Off Leash cannot groom aggressive dogs, please notify us prior to your appointment if your dog has been aggressive or has bitten someone. If your dog cannot be handled safely by our groomer we reserve the right to refuse providing services. The pet parent will be held liable for any bites that require medical attention as well as any property damage caused by the dog. All bites will be reported to local authorities as this is required by law. Life Off Leash reserves the right to muzzle any dog if deemed necessary.
Health Conditions:
Life Off Leash requests that you notify us up front if your dog has any pre-existing health conditions. The grooming process can be very stressful for dogs with health conditions and for senior dogs; therefore, we want to make sure we are providing services that will not add to their stress level but yet make them comfortable.
Scheduled Appointment Arrival Time:
Life Off Leash is a mobile service and therefore subject to delays in between appointment times which can effect your appointment. Should we be running late due to traffic, inclement weather, mechanical issues or an unforeseen delay with prior client, we will notify you via text with a new estimated time of arrival.
Fleas & Ticks:
Life Off Leash requires our clients to keep their dogs free of fleas and ticks. Should we find fleas and/or ticks on your pet we will contact you immediately to reschedule or to authorize a specialized flea shampoo at an additional cost. Such flea shampoos are not guaranteed to be effective 100% and can cause side effects including allergic reactions.
We advise you to follow up with your Veterinarian due to the various health risks to your dog that can occur from having Fleas and Ticks.
De-Matting:
Excessive de-matting is a time consuming and costly procedure. Not only does a matted coat cause extreme discomfort to the dog but it can cause itching, irritation and skin infections prior to the grooming. Life off Leash is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions due to a matted coat. If your dog is matted Life Off Leash will provide you with our professional opinion on how to safely proceed, this may include shaving your dog. Removing a matted coat runs the risk of nicks and cuts due to skin folds or moles hidden within the mats. Due to the labor intensive procedure we will need to charge an extra fee for matted pets, this will be determined at the time of your appointment. In extreme cases, this process may need to be performed by your Veterinarian.

PRICING:
Prices will vary for each dog as it is determined by size of dog, dog breed, coat condition, behavior/temperament and past grooming schedule.
Scheduled Appointment:
We will contact you by text or email as a reminder of your upcoming appointment and you will need to confirm. You will also be sent a Service Agreement that you will need to review and sign. Should you need to cancel appointment please do so 48 hours in advance. If this is not done you will be subject to a fee of 50% of scheduled grooming services for that appointment.
